Artist statement

Art is a spiritual message for me. I open myself to the unity of the universe allowing the divine creative energy to move through me onto my canvas. Creating art is a form of connecting with the power of the heart and the senses, thereby bringing beauty to the world. I apply paint to canvas, and pastels to my drawings with absolute freedom and little care for the end result.

For me, Meditation unlocks the door to my subconscious mind where the power of creativity and oneness with the universe lies. My paintings are expressions of this blissful state.

It is my hope that my art will stimulate the imagination and senses of those who view it, so they can too experience the beauty of creation and artistic expression.
